Julie Qiu is an international oyster expert, bivalve blogger for In A Half Shell, and sustainable seafood storyteller. Her passion for oysters has inspired her to create bespoke experiences such as the Oyster Omakase Tasting Club, New York Oyster Crawl, and to organize oyster outings for the New York Oyster Lovers Meetup group. Julie is the co-author of the 33 Oysters on the Half Shell tasting journal and the New York Oyster Map. In A Half Shell has been recognized as one of Fathom Away’s “24 Best Travel Blogs,” and SAVEUR’s “Sites We Love.”
